Company Overview

Kemaro AG is a Swiss robotics company that designs and manufactures autonomous industrial sweeping robots for warehouses, logistics centers and manufacturing plants.

Founded in 2016 and based in Eschlikon, Switzerland, the company develops a dry cleaning system that uses neither water nor chemicals, making it suitable for packaged goods and sensitive production areas while avoiding moisture-related risks. Its flagship K900 Gen II navigates with 3D environment perception, AI-powered navigation, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and cloud connectivity, allowing fully automatic round-the-clock cleaning of areas up to 20,000 square meters per docking station, scalable to 100,000 square meters with multiple stations. The robots are compatible with VDA5050 AGV fleet-management systems and deliberately use minimized sensors with no 360-degree cameras, supporting a privacy-by-design approach with data servers located in Switzerland. The K700 Compact, with a height of just 25 cm, targets tight spaces such as areas under low shelves and machinery. Customers manage cleaning schedules, room maps, no-go zones and fleet performance through the Kemaro Sphere cloud platform and web app. Kemaro has deployed more than 1,500 robots across over 400-600 industrial customers worldwide, including Unilever, Nestle, BMW and Amazon, with operations spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia. The company won the Swiss Logistics Award 2022 and has been an IFOY nominee.

In 2026 it opened a U.S. office and pre-closed a USD 5 million Series B round to fund expansion. All robots are engineered and produced in-house in Switzerland.
