"更智能丨更安全丨更环保"
Ningbo auto electronics and safety group now selling robot parts: the Lingxi TeleHand dexterous hand, EAOS/EAPC robot brain controllers and robot batteries.
Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp. is a Chinese automotive technology group headquartered in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Founded in 2004, it has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2011 under code 600699 and completed a Hong Kong main board listing in November 2025, giving it an A plus H share structure. The group reports more than 40,000 employees, more than 25 R&D centres and more than 60 production bases across Asia, Europe and North America.
Joyson's core business is automotive. Its segments are smart cockpit, intelligent driving, smart connectivity, new energy management, including battery management systems and onboard power electronics, and automotive safety. The automotive safety business, Joyson Safety Systems, was formed by integrating Key Safety Systems with the non-PSAN assets of Takata, and the electronics side includes the German company Preh, acquired in 2011, and the connected-vehicle unit JOYNEXT. The company describes itself as a global leader in automotive intelligence and safety technology.
Since 2025 Joyson has been building a robotics components business through a combination of in-house development and investment, applying its automotive electronics, controller and battery capabilities to humanoid and embodied-AI robots. At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai in July 2026 the company presented a set of robot core components. The Lingxi TeleHand series is its first self-developed dexterous hand solution: the professional version has 20 degrees of freedom and a hybrid drive combining in-palm direct drive, tendon cables and linkages, and Joyson claims about half the volume, 30 percent less weight and two to three times the torque density of competing hands, while a basic version targets reliability and fast deployment. The hands can be fitted with an electronic skin providing three-dimensional force sensing and run on the Lingxi PHINO multimodal fusion platform for both industrial precision work and service interaction.
For robot intelligence, Joyson offers an embodied agent brain solution made up of the EAOS operating system and EAPC controllers. Described as one brain for many robot forms, the controllers span compute from 40 TOPS to 2,070 TFLOPS on a big-brain and small-brain fusion architecture, and EAOS integrates a world model, an agentic operating system and a memory system for long-horizon tasks. Joyson says the solution is already deployed in some industrial and automatic-charging scenarios and that an automotive-grade central controller for its on-device physical AI platform has been supplied in volume to a leading robot customer. The company also showed a third-generation AI head assembly that integrates perception, motion and a large language model for head posture and expression, designed for modular mass production.
In energy, Joyson's Junen solid-liquid hybrid battery packs for robots are rated at 380 Wh per kilogram, more than 2,000 cycles, operation from minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius and 80 percent charge in 30 minutes, with wired and wireless charging. They are paired with a BMS rated from minus 40 to 105 degrees Celsius, a bidirectional wireless energy supply solution for robots and a high-density energy converter.
For the RobotToday humanoid landscape, Joyson is an automotive tier-one supplier diversifying into humanoid components. The robotics line is new and described by the company as accelerating toward commercialisation; buyers should confirm availability of the dexterous hands and battery packs, which were launched in July 2026.
