JEL's product line includes wafer transfer robots, equipment front-end modules (EFEMs), aligners, sorter systems, and end-effectors used in cleanroom semiconductor and FPD substrate handling. The company builds cylindrical coordinate robots for cost-efficient linear-path handling and horizontal multi-joint SCARA robots for flexible-path, high-stability transfers. Named models include the GCR4210 and SWCR3160CS wafer handling robots, the SSY-10000 sorter, and the GTFR5280, a five-axis clean robot that received CE certification in 2024.
The company operates factories in Saba, Kochi, and Onomichi, the latter scheduled to open in October 2026, plus a Tokyo branch and subsidiaries in Shanghai and Changzhou, China, along with a Korea branch. JEL exhibits at SEMICON trade events in Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, the western United States, and Europe, and its robots have been adopted by more than 2,800 customers worldwide that require nanometer-scale positioning accuracy for contamination-free substrate handling.
