Instor Projetos e Robótica is a Brazilian robotics manufacturer founded in 2008, originating from research at the Laboratory of Metallurgy and Physics (LAMEF) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre. The company develops robotic technology for Oil & Gas, Mining, Healthcare, Logistics, Nuclear, and Agriculture sectors. Key products include TUPAEX (first EX-certified inspection robot in the Americas), Tupã EX (tracked robot for hazardous area inspections, certified in partnership with Petrobras), Macuxi (automated industrial painting robot), Jaguar AMR (logistics autonomous mobile robot), Jaci (autonomous germicidal robot), and Guaraci (hexapod for tank inspections).
In 2026, the company launched the Angoerá Scanner, Angoerá EX Scanner, and Sonda EX. Instor is headquartered in Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul, with a subsidiary in Duque de Caxias, RJ.
