Instock is a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) startup founded in 2020 and headquartered in San Carlos, California. The company delivers a fully as-a-Service Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) for eCommerce fulfillment operations. Its patented system consists of a static grid racking structure, standardized bins, cloud software (Incloud), and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that are the only moving elements.
The AMRs navigate in three dimensions — driving horizontally on floors, vertically on ramps, and upside-down along ceilings — gripping bin wings to transport inventory to ground-level workstations. Customers pay quarterly based on storage and throughput capacity with zero CAPEX and no installation or maintenance fees. The system is modular, scalable from 1,000 sq ft micro-fulfillment up to large-scale warehouses, and backed by Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, Lux Capital, and OneWay Ventures.
Co-founders include CEO Yegor Anchyshkin and CTO Andrii. Commercial deployments include GoBolt warehouses.
