Hibot is a robotics company founded in 2004 as a spin-off from the Tokyo Institute of Technology laboratory of Professor Shigeo Hirose. Led by CEO Michele Guarnieri, Hibot develops AI-powered snake-like robotic manipulators and inspection platforms for infrastructure maintenance, non-destructive testing, and hazardous environments. Key products include Soryu-C (snake robot for confined spaces), Float Arm (long-reach snake manipulator for boiler and plant inspection), and the ACM-R4H surveillance robot.
