Hexadrone is a French manufacturer of professional modular drones based in Saint-Ferreol-d'Auroure, Haute-Loire, and led by its president Alexandre Labesse. Its main product is TUNDRA 2, a multi-role multirotor platform that the company says is compatible with more than 100 applications and payloads through its standard TR-Lock and TR-Module mechanical and electrical interfaces. The company states that spare parts remain available for ten years.
TUNDRA 2 can be configured with different arm sets: Urban arms carrying up to 3 kg with 35 minutes of flight unloaded and 25 minutes fully loaded, Endurance arms carrying up to 5 kg with one hour of flight unloaded and 30 minutes fully loaded, and XL arms carrying up to 6 kg. The airframe is rated IP54, tested to NF EN 60529. The drone carries the UAF label ("Utilise par les Armees Francaises") awarded by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, and the company has announced that TUNDRA 2 validated its conformity with European drone classes C5 and C6.
