Hermary Opto Electronics Inc. is a Canadian innovator in 3D machine vision, headquartered in Coquitlam, British Columbia, and incorporated in April 1990. For more than 30 years, Hermary has designed and manufactured 3D laser triangulation scanners that enable industrial automation by capturing the physical world as digital geometric point cloud data, helping manufacturers improve throughput, quality, safety, and waste reduction beyond what is humanly possible. Its scanners do not rely on contrast or lighting; instead they generate dense 3D point clouds that can be processed quickly by image analysis algorithms, and they are housed in rugged, water- and dust-proof IP67 enclosures built to withstand demanding industrial environments. The newer flagship TDS2000 more than doubles the scan rate of the previous generation while outputting roughly 85 percent more data points at 67 percent higher resolution, and models such as the coplanar DPS-4024HA output up to 1,000 scans per second. The company's Amadeus Intelligent Machine Vision Architecture is a modular ecosystem that lets system designers configure and control cameras, lasers, and illuminators from a centralized computer. Hermary supplies system-ready scanners to OEMs and integration partners across industries including wood, paper and pulp, meat and food processing, beverage, mining, packaging, and steel, and backs its products with strong R&D and engineering support.
