Harwin is a British manufacturer of electrical connectors, board-level EMC shielding and cable assemblies based in Portsmouth, England. Founded in 1952 by the de Laszlo family, the company began as a turning facility and now concentrates on interconnects for applications where vibration, shock and temperature extremes make failure unacceptable. It is certified to EN 9100 / AS9100D.

Products are grouped into the HRi high-reliability range, the BBi board-level shielding range, the EZi general connector range and configurable cable assemblies. The HRi family includes the Gecko G125 series, a low-profile dual-row connector; the Datamate M80 and M83 series in single-, double- and triple-row configurations with a wide operating temperature range; the M300 series in 3-contact single-row and 6- and 10-contact double-row versions; and the Kona power connector rated at 60 A per contact in 2-, 3- or 4-contact single-row layouts. All are specified as vibration and shock resistant. An online configurator generates custom cable assemblies on these families. The company has acquired KEC Limited, a UK designer of rugged EMC backshells, glands and panel fittings.

Target markets are aviation, defense, space, UAVs and unmanned systems, electric vehicles, medical, industrial, energy including oil and gas, and metering and measurement, with products sold through distributors.
