GOUP Automation (Hangzhou Gaopin Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese intelligent-manufacturing equipment supplier founded in 2013 and headquartered at No.140 Golf Road, Yinhu Subdistrict, Fuyang District, Hangzhou. After more than a decade of R&D, the company designs and integrates automated assembly lines and production systems as a system integrator across three main sectors. In the automotive (mobility) sector it covers thermal management, electric drive, chassis and wire-control chassis, ADAS and vehicle interior/exterior, internal combustion engines, motors and actuators, engine and transmission components, and testing equipment.
In the lithium-ion battery industry it supplies die-cutting machines, stacking machines, die-cutting-and-stacking integrated machines, battery cell assembly lines, and module/PACK assembly lines. In general industry it serves elevator, photovoltaic solar, healthcare and consumer goods applications. GOUP develops standardized, modular automation systems and pursues a five-step smart factory roadmap spanning intelligent decision-making, management, manufacturing, testing and warehousing logistics.
The group operates 11 company platforms with over 300 employees worldwide, more than 45,000 square meters of office and production space, 136 patents and software copyrights, and 500+ delivered projects. It maintains a global footprint with entities in Hangzhou, Suzhou (Gaoteng), Thailand, Japan, Canada, Italy and Germany, and was named Hilite International 2025 Supplier of the Year.
