Gears Educational Systems (GEARS) is a US-based educational technology company founded in 2001 and headquartered in Pittsburg, Kansas. GEARS develops and supplies open-source robotics and mechatronics kits designed for STEM education at middle school, high school, and college levels. Their flagship product line, the GEARS-IDS (Invention and Design System), uses industrial-grade materials to provide students with hands-on engineering and robotics learning experiences.

In September 2011, DEPCO LLC acquired GEARS Educational Systems and consolidated operations at its Pittsburg, Kansas facility. DEPCO distributes GEARS kits through its educational supply network to schools and universities across the United States.
