"Autonomous Pallet Transport in Tight Spaces"
Munich-based robotics startup making ultra-flat omnidirectional AMRs that drive under Euro pallets for space-efficient intralogistics.
Filics GmbH, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops flat autonomous mobile robots for pallet handling in warehouses with limited maneuvering space. Its flagship product, the Filics Unit, consists of two omnidirectional robots measuring 1200x200x95mm that travel under standard Euro pallets and transport them without requiring additional floor space. Each unit carries up to 1,200 kg at speeds up to 2 m/s.
The system leverages computer vision and AI to navigate autonomously. Industrial pilots are underway with Bosch, DHL Group, and Nagel Group. In July 2025, Filics closed a €13.5M financing round backed by Sandwater, Alven, F-LOG Ventures, Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, and Bayern Kapital.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Ultra-flat omnidirectional dual-robot system that drives under Euro pallets for space-efficient warehouse transport.
