Festo Gesellschaft m.b.H. is the Austrian national subsidiary of Festo SE & Co. KG, a German automation technology group. Established in 1959, the Vienna entity is one of Festo's oldest subsidiaries outside Germany and is based at Linzer Strasse 227 in the city's 14th district. It employs about 130 people and is a distribution and applications-support unit for the wider Festo group, which operates roughly 250 locations worldwide with about 20,600 employees and reported revenue of approximately 3.45 billion euros in 2024.
The Austrian subsidiary sells Festo's pneumatic and electric automation portfolio, drawn from a catalog of about 33,000 products, including pneumatic valves, cylinders and actuators, electric drives, sensors, and service units, along with technical support for Austrian manufacturing customers. It also delivers technical education and further-training programs for industrial engineers and technicians, and operates a Festo Experience Center and a Technical and Application Center in Austria to support customer development projects.
The entity holds ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 certification, along with ATEX EN 80079-34 certification for products used in explosive atmospheres.
