German smart-farming firm owning the ISARIA tractor-mounted crop sensors (acquired 2025), plus soil scanning and drone weed-mapping services.
FarmBlick GmbH is a smart-farming company based in Sulzfeld, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, that combines soil sampling, soil scanning, crop sensing, drone services and farm data software into one service for farmers and agricultural contractors. It was founded by Oliver Martin, a state-certified technician in energy and automation technology who previously tested prototype and pre-series machines for agricultural machinery manufacturers. The company is registered at the Mannheim local court under HRB 752288.
In September 2025 FarmBlick acquired 100% of ISARIA, the German developer of tractor-mounted optical crop sensors originally associated with Fritzmeier Umwelttechnik. ISARIA is now offered as a FarmBlick product line. ISARIA sensors measure light reflected by the crop during a field pass and derive biomass, leaf area, chlorophyll content, vitality and current nitrogen supply, which are converted on the fly into variable application rates for nitrogen fertilizer and growth regulators. Two models are listed: ISARIA PRO Active, which has its own light source and works independently of time of day and lighting, and ISARIA PRO Compact, an ISOBUS-capable entry model that uses sunlight and is intended for daytime use. Users can work in single-point mode with a farmer-defined target rate or, for some crops, with expert systems that calculate the rate from crop and yield-potential data. Data are stored in the ISARIA module of the FarmBlick Community software.
Drone services are delivered through certified system partners and include weed mapping for spot spraying (mapping up to 80 ha per hour, with application maps passed to field sprayers and herbicide savings stated at up to 90%), release of Trichogramma wasps against the European corn borer, cover-crop seeding, thermal-camera fawn detection before mowing, and inspection of photovoltaic plants and structures following DIN EN 62446 and VDE guidelines.
Other services include georeferenced soil sampling and analysis, soil scanning for soil type, compaction and water-holding capacity, consulting, workshops and the ProFlura software. FarmBlick states that it works with more than 100 active system partners in Germany and Europe, has sampled about 7.5 million hectares and serves more than 1,000 farms.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Tractor-mounted active-light crop sensor measuring biomass and N supply for real-time variable-rate application.
Entry-level ISOBUS-capable passive crop sensor for daytime nitrogen and growth-regulator rate control.
Partner-delivered drone weed mapping for spot spraying, Trichogramma release, seeding, fawn rescue and PV inspection.
