Endiatx makes PillBot, a swallowable micro-robot capsule enabling remote, real-time stomach diagnostics without traditional endoscopy.
Endiatx is a Silicon Valley medical micro-robotics company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Hayward, California. Its flagship product, PillBot, is a swallowable robotic capsule measuring 13 mm x 30 mm equipped with three pump-jet thrusters, a live-video camera, LEDs, and a wireless transceiver. After being swallowed, PillBot is remotely piloted by a physician via a game controller to navigate a water-filled stomach, transmitting real-time HD video for gastric diagnostics.
The device is designed as a low-cost, disposable alternative to traditional upper endoscopy and is undergoing clinical trials. Future roadmap includes biopsy, polyp removal, and progressively smaller surgical micro-robots.
