Its business originated as the pneumatics division of Bosch Rexroth; Triton Partners acquired the unit in 2013, and it began operating under the AVENTICS name in February 2014, before Emerson Electric acquired the company in 2018 for about 527 million euros. AVENTICS now operates as a brand within Emerson's Discrete Automation segment.
The company manufactures pneumatic cylinders, electric actuators, solenoid and proportional valve systems, air-preparation units and pressure regulators, vacuum technology, grippers, and sensors, along with electronically networked pneumatic modules built for Industry 4.0 connectivity. Its products serve machine and factory automation in food and beverage processing, packaging, automotive assembly, medical-equipment manufacturing, life sciences, and transportation, including marine control systems.
