"Full Spectrum Connection Confidence"
Ramat Gan, Israel firm founded 2009 and ASX-listed; its Halo bonds cellular, radio and satellite links for BVLOS drones, used by 100+ UAV makers.
Elsight Ltd is an Israeli supplier of multi-link connectivity hardware and cloud software for drones, uncrewed ground vehicles and other autonomous systems, headquartered at Icon Tower, 13 Menachem Begin Boulevard, Ramat Gan. It was founded in 2009 by Nir Gabay and Roee Kashi, both former soldiers from the Israeli intelligence community, and began with audio and video transmission systems sold to defence and homeland security customers in Israel. It listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2017 under the code ELS, refocused on the uncrewed systems market in 2019 and launched its Halo platform in 2020.
Halo bonds several links into a single encrypted connection between a vehicle and its ground control station, intended for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operation. The company states that it combines up to four LTE and 5G cellular links across multiple carriers with private 5G, MESH and point-to-point software-defined radio, and LEO or GEO satellite links, naming Viasat, Iridium and Starlink, with traffic carried in AES-256-CBC packets through a VPN tunnel. A Remote ID module compliant with FAA and EASA rules, supporting both broadcast and network Remote ID, is built in. Halo OEM, for integration into airframes, measures 87 x 69 x 19 mm and weighs 97 g; Box Halo, a standalone rugged hub, measures 120 x 40 x 119 mm and weighs 534 g. Versions are marketed separately for military, homeland security and public safety, and commercial users.
AllSight is the companion cloud platform. It shows every link on every Halo across a fleet in real time with device, location, network and VPN status, allows remote configuration and over-the-air firmware updates, uploads RF recordings after each flight, and includes HeatSight, which builds time-aggregated and altitude-based cellular coverage heatmaps from the drone's point of view for route planning.
Elsight reports Halo as Blue UAS cleared and added to the Blue UAS list (announced in April 2026), NDAA compliant and MIL-STD-810G certified, with FCC, CE and PTCRB approvals and ISO 9001:2015 for its quality system. It says it has partnered with more than 100 drone and UAV manufacturers and operators. Customers named on its site include Lockheed Martin, DroneUp, Speedbird Aero and ACSL, and customer logos include Skydio, Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries, Kongsberg, Flock Safety, Airobotics, Event 38 and Dubai Police. The company has a partnership with the Israeli robotics maker Robotican, was selected for Phase 3 of the US Defense Innovation Unit's Project G.I., and in December 2025 announced a US$21.2 million contract for deliveries from January to April 2026.
