The Danish Technological Institute (DTI) is an independent, non-profit applied-research and technology-services organization founded in 1906 and headquartered in Taastrup, Denmark. Its Centre for Robot Technology operates from Odense, part of the Danish robotics cluster centered in that city.
DTI runs more than 350 research and development projects a year and operates 70 industry-ready laboratories for testing materials, components and finished products. The Centre for Robot Technology maintains an Autonomous Robotics Lab where companies test intelligent robots in unstructured environments, and DTI takes part in European programs such as the RIMA Network and EU Digital Innovation Hubs, serving as a test and experimentation site for robotics and AI applications in manufacturing, agrifood and urban settings.
Beyond robotics, DTI delivers more than 1,000 courses, study programs and conferences each year to over 17,000 participants and employs more than 1,000 technical staff across its laboratories and consulting groups.
