US consumer robotics startup developing Cozio, a wheeled AI pet companion robot with a modular play arm, treat dispenser and app-based activity tracking
Cozio Robotics Inc. is a consumer robotics startup developing Cozio, a mobile companion robot for pets. IFA Berlin lists the company as US-based and describes it as combining embodied AI, robotics and behavioral science for smart pet care.
The robot is a wheeled indoor unit measuring 325 x 390 x 250 mm and weighing 12 kg, paired with a charging dock measuring 192 x 770 x 748 mm with a 1.5 m power cord. It navigates between rooms and around furniture, returns to its dock to recharge, and carries an HD camera for live monitoring. Published subsystems are a modular robotic arm for interactive play, a mobile food hub that dispenses food and treats, a proactive companion mode that initiates play without owner input, and an activity and behavior tracking system that reports health insights. An iOS and Android app covers live camera view, activity tracking, behavior insights, routine scheduling, feeding and reward management, remote interaction control, multi-pet profiles and alerts. The company states the robot is designed for a range of cats and dogs.
As of October 2026 the product is pre-launch and sold only as a reservation: a USD 25 deposit against USD 100 off at launch, with a Kickstarter campaign referenced on the site. The site claims a 2026 CES Innovation Award Best of Innovation, a 2026 Forbes Vetted Best Product Award and a 2026 Red Dot Best of the Best; none of these could be confirmed, and Cozio does not appear in the CTA's published CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree announcement.
