ClearSpace is a space sustainability company founded in 2018 as a spin-off from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne), with headquarters in Luxembourg and offices in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The company provides in-orbit servicing capabilities including satellite inspection, life extension, and active debris removal (ADR). ClearSpace was selected by the European Space Agency to lead the world's first mission to remove debris from orbit, targeted for the late 2020s.

The PRELUDE mission, targeting launch in 2027, will bridge technology demonstration and operational in-orbit services. The UK Space Agency has also selected ClearSpace for a mission to remove two objects from orbit and refurbish the servicer in place. The company raised €26 million in a Series A round to fund these operations.
