Caja Robotics is an Israeli supplier of goods-to-person warehouse automation, registered as Caja Elastic Dynamic Solutions Ltd, formerly Caja Systems, and based at 4 HaMelacha Street, Binyamina, Israel. Company registry data gives incorporation in June 2014, though some profiles state 2015. Ilan Cohen is CEO and chairman and Hanna Yanovsky is EVP and CRO.
The product is a robotic mini-load automated storage and retrieval system for unit picking, built around two cooperating robot types. A lift robot handles storage, replenishment and inventory optimisation at height, while a cart robot carries boxes between storage and picking workstations. A cloud platform runs navigation, fleet management and inventory logic and connects to a customer's warehouse management system through documented APIs.
Caja targets brownfield warehouses. The company states the system reuses existing flooring, mezzanines, shelving and totes, scales by adding robots rather than rebuilding, and lets a site switch between robotic and manual picking within minutes. Claimed results are a 60 percent reduction in picker walking time, 50 percent more storage capacity and 40 percent higher order throughput; these are vendor figures.
A USD 12 million Series B led by New Era Capital brought disclosed funding to roughly USD 26 million, with iAngels, the CRA fund, Gigi Levy-Weis and Philip Spruch participating. Named deployments include Sela Logistics in Israel and Bergen Logistics in New Jersey. Advanced Handling Systems of Cincinnati is a United States integration partner, and Fives has cooperated with Caja on the European market.
