Company Overview

Bounce Imaging designs and manufactures throwable 360-degree camera spheres for law enforcement, military, and first responders. Founded in 2012 by Francisco Aguilar at the MIT and Harvard Innovation Laboratory, the company was inspired by the 2010 Haiti earthquake to improve situational awareness in hazardous environments. Its flagship Explorer device can be tossed into dangerous spaces and instantly transmits panoramic imagery to a smartphone.

Bounce Imaging systems are used by over 450 state and local law enforcement agencies, the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, and elite Department of Defense units. The company also offers thermal 360-degree throwable cameras for enhanced night and low-visibility operations.
