August Robotics is a construction and exhibitions robotics company headquartered at 4650 S Arville St, Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded by CEO Alex Wyatt, the company began by automating floor marking for the global exhibitions industry, building its first commercial robot, Lionel, after a concept phase that started in mid-2018 and a public unveiling at the UFI Global Conference in 2019. Building on its exhibitions business, August Robotics expanded into construction: its Industrial Fit-Out line applies the same autonomous marking approach to commercial and industrial build-outs, and its robotic drilling product supports downward drilling for ceiling and overhead installation work on job sites, including data center construction. In July 2026 the company partnered with power-tool maker Dewalt to co-develop DALE, a downward-drilling construction robot intended to automate overhead drilling tasks such as anchor and conduit installation that are otherwise performed manually from ladders or lifts. In May 2026 August Robotics closed a $30 million Series B round led by Big Pi Ventures, with participation from existing investors Blackbird, Skip Capital, Tanarra and Future Family Office plus new investor GS Futures, to accelerate its autonomous construction robotics platform.

August Robotics maintains international operations beyond its Las Vegas base, including teams in Dusseldorf, Germany; Carlton, Australia; and Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China, reflecting its customer footprint across the exhibitions and construction industries in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. The company's robots are designed to operate autonomously on job sites and event floors that are often unstructured and populated by workers and equipment, requiring precise navigation and marking without dedicated infrastructure. In 2024 the company received the ESCA Innovation Award for Exhibition Technology in recognition of Lionel's impact on trade show operations.
