ATTAbotics was a Calgary, Alberta-based robotics company founded in 2016 by Scott Gravelle. The company developed a patented three-dimensional automated storage and retrieval system replacing conventional warehouse aisles with dense vertical storage galleries. Autonomous Attabot shuttle robots traversed both horizontal and vertical axes to retrieve inventory and deliver items to workstation nodes, reducing facility footprint by up to 85 percent. The system included proprietary Weave order management software. ATTAbotics raised nearly $200 million CAD from investors including Honeywell, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, and EDC. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in July 2025 and its assets were acquired by Lafayette Systems in September 2025, which restarted Calgary operations.
