ARS Automation (ARS S.r.l.) is an Italian industrial-automation company based in Civitella in Val di Chiana, Arezzo, with more than 30 years of experience in flexible parts feeding and robotics. The company is the manufacturer of FlexiBowl, a patented flexible parts-feeding system used in automated assembly lines to supply components to industrial robots and collaborative robots. Rather than relying on dedicated vibratory bowls, FlexiBowl uses a rotary disc combined with a servo-driven pulse generator and integrated hoppers to feed, separate, stabilize and present parts of virtually any shape or material, sized from 1 to 250 mm, optimally oriented for robot pick-and-place. The system integrates with any robot and vision system through Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, EtherNet/IP and digital I/O, supported by communication plug-ins for nearly all industrial robot brands and PLCs.

ARS Automation also supplies the FlexiVision vision system for part recognition and coordinate transfer, bulk feeders and a range of discs and accessories. FlexiBowl is sold in more than 40 countries through authorized distributors and is deployed across automotive, cosmetics, medical, electronics, metal, plastic, non-rigid materials and life-sciences industries. As a flexible-feeding partner to system integrators and machine builders, ARS Automation enables robotic flexible feeding and bin-picking applications, reducing changeover times and increasing assembly-line productivity. The company also conducts R&D, including AI-based simulation of flexible feeding.
