Automotive Robotic Industries (ARI), based in Nazareth, Israel, was founded in 2010 by Amos Goren and develops the AMSTAF family of autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for military, border security, and civilian applications. The AMSTAF platform is an amphibious 6×6 hybrid-electric vehicle capable of reaching speeds up to 30 mph on land and 2.5 mph in water, climbing 45-degree slopes, carrying 770 pounds of payload, and operating continuously for up to 48 hours. Equipped with AI, machine learning, and C4I capabilities, it supports missions including perimeter surveillance, fire control, riot control, and cargo transport.
Vehicles are available in four-, six-, and eight-wheel configurations and can be operated remotely from up to eight miles away or programmed for full autonomous operation.
