Ukrainian manufacturer of HUMMEL-series FPV drones for military use, with codified models approved by Ukraine's Ministry of Defence.
Amazing Drones is a Ukrainian developer, manufacturer and service provider of FPV (first-person-view) drones, operating in the military technology sector. The company was founded in 2023 by two entrepreneurs, an engineer and a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to supply FPV drones for military applications.
Its core product line is the HUMMEL series of FPV quadcopters, including a Hummel 10-inch model that, with a high-capacity 12,000 mAh battery and a signal repeater, can reach distances of up to 20 km. Standard batteries range from 8,000 mAh (roughly 60-70 minute charge time at 4 A) to 12,000 mAh (about 120 minutes). The drones' FPV architecture allows configurations tailored to specific customer missions, with optional accessories such as an initiation board, drop/release system and a swivel mechanism for the camera. Some components are treated with a special lacquer for moisture resistance. The company reports having produced over 1,000 drones, completed more than 25 contracts, and donated over 100 drones. Its customers include numerous Ukrainian military units such as the 80th Air Assault Brigade, 81st Airmobile Brigade, the 'Kraken' special unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, and several territorial defence and mechanized brigades.
One of its FPV drones has passed special testing and been codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Ministry of Defence. Each drone undergoes laboratory and field testing before delivery. Military customers receive a 12-month warranty. The company is based in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
