Mech-Mind Robotics (Mech-Mind Robotics Technologies Ltd.) is a Chinese industrial AI and robotics company founded in 2016 by Shao Tianlan and headquartered in the Haidian District of Beijing. The company develops industrial 3D vision cameras and AI-powered robot software that give industrial robots the ability to see, understand, and act in unstructured environments.
Mech-Mind's hardware portfolio centers on the Mech-Eye series of industrial 3D cameras, which use structured light and laser projection techniques to generate high-accuracy point clouds for bin picking, assembly guidance, palletizing, and quality inspection. Together these tools form a vertically integrated software stack that works with all major robot brands and arms, enabling system integrators and manufacturers to build flexible automation solutions without deep robotics programming expertise.
The company's solutions are widely applied in logistics (depalletizing, parcel handling), consumer electronics assembly, home appliance manufacturing, and steel and metal handling. Mech-Mind counts over 1,500 enterprise clients worldwide and has shipped more than 10,000 industrial 3D cameras.
Mech-Mind has raised over $200 million in venture funding. Its Series C round, led by Chinese technology company Meituan, also included Sequoia Capital China and Source Code Capital. Earlier investors include Intel Capital. The company employs nearly 500 people across offices in China, Germany, Spain, the United States, and Japan, reflecting its global go-to-market strategy targeting both direct enterprise customers and the integrator channel.
