Luckin Coffee posts record Q2 earnings amid aggressive expansion and collaborations

Luckin Coffee, a prominent Chinese coffee chain, announced impressive financial results for the second quarter of 2025, with net revenue soaring to RMB 12.36 billion (approximately $1.72 billion), marking a significant 47.1% increase compared to the same period last year. The company also reported a substantial rise in operating profit, which climbed 61.8% to RMB 1.7 billion ($0.24 billion). This growth can be attributed to the expansion of both self-operated and franchised stores. During this quarter, Luckin Coffee opened 2,109 new locations, elevating its total global store count to 26,206. The company's strategic expansion and strong performance reflect its ongoing efforts to capture a larger share of the competitive coffee market in China.
