EVENT OVERVIEW
XPONENTIAL 2027, the annual trade show and conference of the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), will be held May 17–20, 2027 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida, with education sessions and exhibits running May 18–20. AUVSI produces the event with Messe Düsseldorf North America. The 2026 edition in Detroit drew nearly 10,000 attendees from more than 50 countries and over 600 exhibitors, with more than 100 education sessions and the MDEX defense event co-located. By September 2026, organizers reported that 58% of the 2027 exhibit floor was sold or on hold.
The move to a coastal venue shapes the 2027 program. AUVSI lists maritime and port autonomy among its Miami priorities, alongside advanced air mobility, resilience and disaster response, smart infrastructure, counter-UAS, dual-use technology and Latin American markets. An 'Autonomy in Action' track covers autonomous maritime logistics, offshore inspection and oceanographic research, putting uncrewed surface vessels, AUVs and ROVs on the same program as drones and ground robots. The exhibition includes a Defense Tech Zone, a Public Safety area, an Advanced Materials & Manufacturing zone, the XPO+ Launcher start-up area and state and international pavilions. The call for proposals closes October 2, 2026.
