The VEX Robotics World Championship

The VEX Robotics World Championshipis the annual culminating event of the VEX robotics competition season, organized by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (REC Foundation).

VEX Robotics World Championship Heads to St. Louis in 2026

The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation is pleased to announce that the VEX Robotics World Championship will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2026 and 2027. The event will be held in April at the America’s Center Convention Complex in downtown St. Louis.

2026 VEX Robotics World Championship Dates
  • April 21-24 VEX V5 Robotics Competition High School
  • April 25-27 VEX V5 Robotics Competition Middle School, VEX U Robotics Competition
  • April 28-30 VEX IQ Robotics Competition Middle and Elementary School

It brings together top qualifying teams from the VEX IQ, VEX V5, and VEX U leagues, representing elementary through university levels, to compete, demonstrate technical skill, and celebrate innovation on a global stage. Held over several days each spring, the championship features head-to-head matches, awards across multiple categories, and opportunities for participants to engage with peers, sponsors, and the broader robotics community.

As one of the largest student robotics competitions globally, the event highlights teamwork, engineering excellence, and real-world problem-solving.
