Event Name: World Robot Olympiad™ (WRO) 2026 Season

Overview:

The WRO 2026 Season is a global robotics competition that engages students from around the world in STEM-focused challenges. Participants design, build and program robots that address a themed annual challenge. This season’s International Final brings together national champion teams, educators and technology leaders to compete and showcase innovative solutions aligned with the theme “Robots Meet Culture.”

Theme: Robots Meet Culture – exploring how robotics can support, protect and amplify art, heritage and cultural expression through creative and technological solutions.

  • International Final competition with teams from 100+ countries
  • Robotics design, programming and problem-solving challenges
  • Focus on creativity, teamwork and STEM skill development
  • Multiple competition categories: RoboMission, RoboSports, Future Innovators, Future Engineers
Educational Impact:

WRO promotes hands-on learning, critical thinking and global collaboration among youth aged approximately 8–19 (and up to 22 in select categories), fostering future technologists and innovators.
