CIIF — the China International Industry Fair — is China's longest-running national-level industrial exhibition, jointly organized by five central government ministries and the Shanghai Municipal Government. As a state-endorsed platform, it carries unique policy signal weight: new industrial robot standards, AI-manufacturing policy directions, and strategic sector guidance are frequently announced at CIIF forums.
CIIF 2026 integrates nine thematic shows under one roof, including the CIROS Robot Show (China International Robot Show), which is one of Asia's largest dedicated robotics exhibitions. CIROS covers the full spectrum: industrial robots (6-axis arms, SCARA, delta), collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV), service robots, intelligent logistics systems, and emerging humanoid robot deployments.
The 26th edition covers 280,000 sqm of exhibit space, with 10,000+ exhibitors expected from more than 50 countries and regions. Core exhibition zones include: CNC machine tools and metal processing, industrial automation and robotics, smart energy, new-generation information technology, intelligent transportation, and green low-carbon manufacturing.
CIIF 2026 also integrates four functions critical to industry analysts: product display, business matchmaking, industry awards, and high-level forums on AI-enabled manufacturing, industrial internet, digital transformation, and China's high-quality industrial development roadmap.
For RobotToday, CIIF fills a critical gap: while WRC 2026 (Beijing, August) covers China's humanoid/AI robotics showcase, CIIF represents the full industrial manufacturing chain — the supply-side infrastructure that underpins China's robot production dominance.
