Yunnan KSEC International Trading Co., Ltd. was founded in 1996 as the international business arm of Kunming Shipbuilding Equipment Co., Ltd. (KSEC), a Kunming-based state-owned equipment group of more than 4,500 staff. The trading company exports KSEC-manufactured systems and imports machinery and components from overseas suppliers, and is based in the Yunnan Investment Building on Renmin West Road, Kunming.
Its export portfolio is built around KSEC's automation lines: tobacco processing machinery, Automatic Logistics System installations for the tobacco industry, baggage handling systems developed through a joint venture with Logan Teleflex, smart car parking systems and intelligent building solutions. Project management, installation and commissioning, spare parts and customer service are offered as separate service lines.
KSEC is one of China's earliest AGV developers, and the mobile-robot products marketed under the Yunnan KSEC name in the Mobile Robot Directory are automated forklifts and sortation vehicles drawn from that programme: ALS104J-N48A, an automated forklift for pallets and pallet-sized containers rated at 1,400 kg with a 9,500 mm maximum lift height; ALS104-N24A, a similar forklift rated at 1,400 kg with a 2,924 mm lift height; ALS104D-N24A, an automated pallet jack for ground-level transport rated at 2,000 kg with a 120 mm lift height; and ADD108-K48A, a 200 kg tilt-tray AGV used as part of a sortation system.
