Youngchang Robotech Co., Ltd. was founded in 2002 as Youngchang Engineering and renamed to its current form in 2007. The company is headquartered at 96, Golden Root 129beon-gil, Juchon-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea.
In 2024, the company commenced construction of a new factory in Pyeongtaek, indicating continued expansion. President: Won Jong-dae. Youngchang Robotech designs, manufactures, and integrates robot-based automation systems for CNC machine tending, loading and unloading, deburring, and factory automation. Products are built to customer specification, covering robot selection, programming, mechanical design, fabrication, and full system commissioning. The company holds an ISO 9001 quality management certification (attained 2020) and is certified as an Inno-Biz enterprise (2021) and Specialized Company in Core Manufacturing Technology (2022). It has registered patents for a multi-functional robotic hand and an actuator cylinder. The product lineup includes: Robot Carriage (models RC100C, RC270, RC100T, RC14B) — linear rail-mounted robot transport systems for CNC machine tending; Robot Gantry (models RG1, RG5) — overhead gantry loading systems for machining lines; Robot Deburring (models RD16a, RD16b, RD23a) — automated deburring and surface finishing cells; Labot series (SD, MT, MD, SQ, SR, Smart EZ) — collaborative-robot-based machine tending solutions integrating Universal Robots arms with Youngchang-designed tooling, fixtures, and Smart Panel HMI software; and Smart-CNC / Smart-View software for process monitoring and remote management.
Key clients include Hyundai Motor Company (registered official supplier, 2014), Hyundai Steel (2017), and KEPCO (2017). The company is an official agent for Hyundai Robotics (2019) and has a partnership agreement with Universal Robots (2013).
In 2016 it became a member of the Korea Machine Tool Industry Association (KOMMA) and was selected as a Best Company to Work For by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
