Workhorse Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WKHS) is a US manufacturer of battery-electric commercial vehicles. Following its December 2025 merger with Motiv Electric Trucks, the combined company's headquarters moved to the Wixom, Michigan area, while Workhorse retains manufacturing and other operations in Ohio and California.
The company's core product is the W56, a Class 5/6 battery-electric step van sold with body configurations such as the Utilimaster Aeromaster for last-mile delivery fleets. Workhorse also builds the smaller W750 electric van and the EPIC4 platform, which underpins shuttle bus, school bus and work-truck variants. Its HorseFly system is a drone designed to launch from an electric delivery truck to extend a single route's delivery reach without added driving distance, combining ground and air delivery for parcel logistics. Named customers cited by the company include FedEx, Cintas, Purolator and Aramark.
For fiscal 2025, Workhorse reported revenue of approximately 21.2 million dollars, up 201 percent year over year, alongside a net loss of about 64 million dollars. In the first quarter of 2026 the company reported revenue of 4.3 million dollars and a net loss of 19.9 million dollars. The Motiv merger was structured to combine the two companies' Class 3-6 electric truck product lines under one manufacturer.
