Polish automation firm (est. 1991) building MOBOT AGV/AMR mobile robots alongside motors, drives, sensors and HMI distribution
P.P.H. WObit E.K. Ober s.c. is a Polish automation company founded in 1991 by Witold Ober, initially supplying components and measurement systems. It is based in Deborzyce near Pniewy, Greater Poland, in a purpose-built headquarters occupied after 2010; the business started in a Poznan flat and earlier occupied premises on Gruszkowa Street in Poznan and a branch in Podpniewice.
WObit combines distribution of drives, sensors and mechanics with its own R&D and production. Its own manufacturing covers stepper-motor controllers, MLA linear modules, Kameleon counters and measuring devices. Since 2014 it has built autonomous mobile robots for industrial and intralogistics transport under the MOBOT brand. The catalogued MOBOT AGV range includes eRunner 003 (up to 100 kg, 623 x 492 x 375 mm), CubeRunner 2.5 and CubeRunner2 004 (200-250 kg, retractable pins for automatic load pick-up and set-down), FlatRunner, FlatRunner MW, FlatRunner MW Light and FlatRunner HT 004 (up to 500 kg, 1600 x 750 x 239 mm). All use Wi-Fi communication, LMS laser mapping with vision-based line navigation, a 3 km/h top speed and about eight hours of runtime per charge; the company states load masses from 100 kg to 1,800 kg across the range. Other robotics products are Cartesian robots, linear modules, Tower pick-and-place robots, a desktop robot and in-house SCARA robots. It also supplies PLCs, HMI panels in the Green series, linear guides, ball screws and plastic components, and runs an educational product line.
A published case study covers a Toyota hybrid-drive engine plant automating internal transport with MOBOT AGVs. Recognition includes Wielkopolska Jakosc quality certificates, an EFQM certificate (2018), Supplier of the Year 2017, a Dobry Wzor design award for MOBOT AGV CubeRunner and the Polish Smart Development Award 2019.
