Svedala, Sweden sprayer maker founded 1978, part of Bearpath Technologies, building greenhouse spray robots since 2003, including the pipe-rail S55.
Wanjet AB is a Swedish manufacturer of spraying and fogging equipment based in Svedala, about 15 km east of Malmo, and a member of Bearpath Technologies AB. Founded in 1978, it began with high-pressure sprayers and introduced spray robots for greenhouses in 2003. Its products are sold through 28 distributors in 18 countries.
The spray robot range centres on the Wanjet S55, which travels on greenhouse pipe rails and is used in crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, roses, orchids, strawberries and potted plants, and the Wanjet T1, launched with the S55 in 2008, which moves the S55 automatically from path to path to make spraying fully automatic and includes a GSM alarm for remote supervision. Cleaning accessories for the robots, including a gutter cleaner, a ceiling cleaner and a foam boom, are controlled by the robots' standard software.
Wanjet also produces electric fogging machines (ULV cold foggers), now in the fourth generation of its F-series, including the portable F10 and the fully automated F40 for large areas, as well as high-pressure sprayers, hose reels and personal equipment. Beyond greenhouses, the foggers are marketed for uses such as storage facilities, animal buildings, food plants and pest control services.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Greenhouse spray robot travelling on pipe rails for vegetable, flower and potted-plant crops.
