VTR Feeder Solutions is a Canadian manufacturer of automated parts feeding systems for the medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, food and beverage, and consumer goods industries. It was established in 1995 as a single-person operation in Hamilton, Ontario, and now operates from a 67,000-square-foot facility in Grimsby, Ontario, with more than 90 employees. The company designs, machines, programs and installs its feeding systems in-house, and operates under Global Feeders Group Inc. alongside sister company Performance Feeders in Florida.
Product lines include vibratory bowl feeders, linear feeders, robotic flex feeders and the PartX flexible feeding platform. Robotic flex feeders pair vision-guided part identification with industrial robot arms from FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Staubli and Epson to orient and present components under about 5 inches (150 mm) and typically under a few hundred grams, without dedicated hard tooling for each part. Linear feeders complement the bowl feeders by orienting and conveying parts to downstream assembly stations, and the vision system locates each part's position and orientation in real time to keep the line running without manual sorting.
VTR reports that more than 85 percent of its annual projects come from repeat customers, and it provides training manuals, maintenance schedules and after-sales service alongside each installed system.
