VST America Inc. is the North American sales and customer-service subsidiary of VS Technology Corporation (Kabushiki Gaisha V.S.Technology), a Japanese optical manufacturer headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo. The parent company was established in December 1997 and has grown into a global supplier of machine vision optics. VST America Inc. was incorporated in April 2012 to strengthen sales and customer support across North and South America, with headquarters at 85 W. Algonquin Road, Suite 215, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, USA. A Dallas, Texas office was added in March 2021 at 11551 Forest Central Drive, Suite 224, Dallas, TX 75243.

VS Technology designs, develops, and manufactures machine vision lenses (fixed focal length, macro, and telecentric types), machine vision lighting (LED-based: ring lights, bar lights, spot lights, back lights, dome lights, coaxial diffuse lights), image processing solutions, and security/surveillance zoom lenses. VST America distributes this full product lineup to customers across North America.

Machine vision lens series include fixed focal length lenses covering sensor formats from 1/3 inch to 4/3 inch and image circles up to Phi 32mm, in focal lengths from 3.5mm to 100mm; select series support 8K resolution and SWIR (900nm-2000nm) applications. Macro lenses are optimized for close-range inspection (working distance approximately 100mm). Telecentric lenses in several series (VS-TLS, VS-TCM) support sensors up to 1.1 inch, magnification ranges from 0.029x to 7x, and working distances from 50 to 500mm. Line scan telecentric lenses cover image circles of Phi 21-Phi 45mm with fixed magnifications from 0.029x to 0.1x and maximum FOV diagonal of 275mm. Accessories include coaxial illumination adapters, prism units, and extension rings.

VST products are RoHS compliant and suitable for inspection, OCR/OCV, alignment, measurement, and monitoring applications. Target industries include semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical/medical device inspection, food and packaging quality control, and general industrial automation.

The parent company holds ISO 9001:2015 (certification number MSA-QS-3957, obtained October 26, 2012) and ISO 14001:2015 (certification number MSA-ES-908, obtained January 26, 2010). Products are REACH Regulation compliant. In 2024, Vision Systems Design awarded the parent company the 2024 Innovators Award (Platinum) in the lens, lighting, and optics products category. As of early 2026, VST America has approximately 51 employees in North America.
