"More Trees Thrive. That's the TreeTrack Promise."
BC reforestation firm dropping its patent-pending Seedpods from drones on burned land and checking survival by satellite; sells results, not drones.
TreeTrack, legally Tree Track Intelligence Inc., is a Canadian forest-restoration company in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, that replants burned and degraded land from the air. It calls itself 'not a drone company' but an end-to-end land restoration provider: drones are only the delivery method; it sells projects and verified results.
AI and GIS tools map a site for viable planting zones. TreeTrack then formulates patent-pending Seedpods for that site: species-specific seed with organic binders and fertiliser, rodent repellent and a biodegradable shell designed to hold moisture. Drones carry a dispersal mechanism — which an early profile says fits any drone — dropping pods singly along planned paths at adjustable density. Survival and growth are tracked by drone imaging, satellite monitoring, AI analytics and ground checks for compliance and ESG reporting.
Services: aerial reforestation, post-wildfire restoration, erosion-control groundcover, mining reclamation, replanting support for forest licensees, and project design for NGOs, governments and landowners, including in the United States. It claims establishment rates 8 to 10 times conventional aerial seeding, about 10 hectares a day (about 22,000 trees) and 40 percent lower cost than manual or other aerial planting. Its impact page: 210+ hectares restored, 500,000 Seedpods and 200+ formulations tested, 55 percent average establishment in wildfire zones, 274 tCO2e avoided per 100 hectares, verified by Brightspot.
CEO Amir Soleimani, a horticulture PhD, founded TreeTrack in October 2022; early accounts name drone pilot Sam (Mohammad) Sarabi as co-founder and CTO. In January 2026 it signed a Canfor contract for UAV Seedpod planting on a wildfire-affected area north of Prince George, scheduled for spring 2026. Named partners: Tree Canada, the BC Ministry of Forests, Teck and Lil'wat Forestry Ventures; it works with First Nations on wildfire-damaged land at no cost to those communities. Its stated goal is 100 million trees by 2028.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
