Company Overview

TOYO Automation Co., Ltd. is a Taiwanese manufacturer of electric linear actuators, single- and multi-axis robots, electric grippers, linear motor modules, desktop robots, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), headquartered in Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan. The company was established in 2008 (operational) with roots in ECON Robot Inc. founded the same year, and formally incorporated as TOYO Automation. The company history page cites the founding of TOYO Automation as occurring in 2008, with further development milestones from 2009 onward. TOYO claims the distinction of being the largest manufacturer of aluminum-extrusion electromechanical linear actuators in Taiwan and Mainland China.

Its core product lines include: single-axis linear actuators (ballscrew and belt-drive series such as GTH/GLTH), multi-axis Cartesian linear robot systems (XYGT series), servo cylinders, miniature cylinders, electric grippers (CH/CHY series), linear motor robots (LGF series), nanometer-precision air bearing systems, air bearing stages and alignment stages, clean-room rated actuator series, desktop robots (JT series), and a range of motion controllers.

In 2019, TOYO Automation became a strategic partner with YAMAHA Motor Co., and in 2025 the two companies established a joint venture called TY ROBOTICS Co., Ltd. Product accolades include multiple Taiwan Excellence Awards: the CPSG/LM4 series in 2023, the CHY gripper series in 2021, the LGF linear motor module in 2021, and the XY air-bearing platform and dual-axis robotic arm in 2024. The company entered Apple's supply chain in 2013 and began OEM production for CKD Japan in 2014. ISO certifications include ISO 9001 (2012), ISO 14001 (2016), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (2013).
