"You Bring the Challenge. We Automate the Solution."
US factory automation integrator merging Jewett Automation, FTS, and S&J Precision; 40+ years of experience, 2,500+ systems installed globally.
THRYVE Automation is a full-service factory automation systems integrator headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with a second facility in New Albany, Indiana. The company was officially launched as a unified brand in June 2026, combining three established automation organisations: Jewett Automation (founded 1981 in Richmond, VA), Filtration Technology Systems (FTS), and S&J Precision. The consolidation is backed by private equity firm McNally Capital.
Collectively, THRYVE brings over 40 years of automation expertise, operates more than 200,000 sq ft of climate-controlled facilities, and has installed more than 2,500 systems globally. Customers include Emerson, Ferguson, Filterbuy, Mann+Hummel, Johnson Controls, Marmon Holdings, Alfa Laval, Moen, Camfil, Medline, and GE Vernova.
The company's automation toolkit spans robotics (six-axis and gantry robots, linear motion, high-speed pick-and-place, vision-guided robotics integrated with Fanuc, Yaskawa, and KUKA platforms), material handling (conveying, web handling and converting, bowl feeding and flex feeding), inspection and testing (machine vision with Cognex and Keyence systems, OCR/OCV, barcode reading, pressure decay leak testing, LVDT force monitoring), consumer packaging (bagging, cartoning, case packing, robotic palletising), and joining (adhesive dispensing, ultrasonic welding, induction sealing via CEIA, robotic screwdriving).
THRYVE operates across five industry verticals: energy (battery packs, fuel cells, nuclear fuel rods), HVAC/filtration and converting, life sciences (medical devices, clean-room compatible equipment), automotive and transportation (fuel injection systems, pump modules, automotive filters), and consumer products (plumbing fixtures, personal care, fire extinguishers). Service capabilities extend from initial automation assessments and digital modelling through to lifecycle service agreements, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades. Controls and data management partners include Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi, AVEVA, Ignition, and Siemens.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Custom-engineered, fully integrated automation systems combining six-axis/gantry robots, machine vision, material handling, and inspection for OEM manufacturers.
