"Making Systems Smarter"
Netanya, Israel defense-tech firm listed on the Tel Aviv exchange (THES) since 2021; its MeduzaX counter-drone radar now feeds High Lander's Vega platform.
ThirdEye Systems Ltd. is an Israeli company headquartered in Netanya that develops thermal- and visible-spectrum object-recognition algorithms and electro-optical payloads for defense and security customers. It was co-founded by CEO Lior Segal, CTO Yoel Motola and COO Gil Barak, and became publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (ticker: THES) in 2021.
The core technology is deep-neural-network-based detection and classification in the thermal spectrum, marketed as Argus Shield and embeddable on existing payloads. The product line includes MeduzaX, a counter-drone system fusing thermal and visible-light imaging to detect small drones; Chimera UL, a day/night gimbal pairing a thermal imager with an HD camera, compatible with DJI's SDK; vEYE, a short-range visible/thermal payload for vehicle and compound investigation; and fEYE, a perception system for SAE Level 1-4 autonomous vehicles. In July 2026, ThirdEye partnered with High Lander to feed MeduzaX's optical-radar detections into High Lander's Vega platform, field-testing ground-based detect-and-avoid for beyond-visual-line-of-sight drone operations.
ThirdEye states its systems are in service with the Israeli Defense Forces and other defense contractors, across counter-terrorism, border control, maritime protection, critical-infrastructure security, search-and-rescue and airport-security applications.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
MeduzaX
Backpack-portable cooled MWIR drone detection system with 97% detection rate and 360-degree scanning, weighing 12.5 kg.
Chimera
Day-and-night drone payload combining 4K EO camera with 18x zoom and thermal imaging, achieving 94% field-tested target recognition rate.
Argus Shield
Vehicle-mounted drone detection system for armored vehicles with 360-degree coverage and unlimited simultaneous target tracking.
