Think Automation

ThinkAutomation is a business process automation software product developed by Parker Software Ltd, a privately held UK company based at Keele University Science Park in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, with a US subsidiary, Parker Software Inc, in Orlando, Florida. The product began around 2012 as an internal tool called Email2DB that parsed incoming emails to update order databases for the company's WhosOn live chat product, was relaunched as ThinkAutomation in 2015, and reached Version 5, a ground-up rewrite, in 2021. Parker Software is a software vendor, not an industrial automation or robotics manufacturer.

The platform is a low-code, drag-and-drop workflow automation engine deployed on-premises, positioned for organizations with data privacy obligations such as HIPAA, SOC 2 and CCPA. Automations act on inbound email, documents and database events to perform email routing and parsing, document processing, database synchronization and calls to AI models; the company states the platform parses 5 billion emails a year. Sister products from Parker Software are OptimaGPT, an on-premises AI server, and WhosOn, an enterprise live chat solution.

Parker Software reports that ThinkAutomation is used by thousands of businesses in more than 100 countries and displays customers including the NHS, NASA, Fujitsu, Cisco, Bank of America, Xerox and Aon.
