Tau Robotics targets applications where robot arms need to operate reliably in unstructured or semi-structured environments: manufacturing assembly and quality control, agricultural harvesting and sorting, medical device handling, and logistics pick-and-place. The company positions itself as building the AI layer that can be deployed on top of commercially available robot arm hardware to unlock autonomous skill acquisition.
