Dutch automotive simulation software company (Helmond, NLD) offering PreScan, Madymo, and Delft-Tyre; acquired by Siemens in 2017, now part of Siemens PLM.
TASS International was a Netherlands-based global provider of simulation software and engineering and test services, primarily for the automotive industry. The company originated from TNO (Dutch applied research organisation) and built a suite of leading simulation tools: PreScan (a platform for simulating complex traffic scenarios and validating ADAS and autonomous driving systems), Madymo (occupant and pedestrian safety modeling using multibody, FEA, and CFD), and Delft-Tyre (highly accurate tyre models for vehicle dynamics and ride-and-handling simulations). At the time of acquisition, TASS International had approximately 200 employees and annual turnover of approximately EUR 27 million.
Siemens acquired TASS International in 2017 and integrated it into its PLM Software Business Unit within the Digital Factory Division, strengthening Siemens' position in systems-driven automotive product development and automated driving solutions.
