STILRIDE is a Swedish technology startup founded in 2019 in Stockholm by Tue Beijer and Jonas Nyvang. The company designs and manufactures sustainable electric motorcycles and scooters using a proprietary process called STILFOLD, an industrial origami technique where robotic arms fold steel sheets into lightweight, durable chassis structures. This method reduces material waste, lowers CO2 emissions, and decreases reliance on traditional stamping tooling.
STILRIDE's flagship products include the Sport Utility Scooter One (SUS1) and the STILRIDE 1 electric motorcycle. The STILFOLD technology has been granted pan-European patents and is being explored for applications in the automotive and aerospace sectors in partnership with Polestar and I.S.A.A.C.
