Company Overview

SolverX is a South Korean AI software company founded in 2021 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The company is a pioneer in AI-aided engineering (AI-AE), developing physics-informed AI models that dramatically reduce the time and computational cost required for computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulations. SolverX's technology addresses a fundamental bottleneck in product development: traditional finite-element and computational fluid dynamics simulations on complex geometries can take days or weeks on high-performance computing clusters, slowing design iteration cycles and increasing development costs.

The company's platform consists of three main AI modules. The AI Solver is a multiphysics pre-trained foundation model that accepts CAD design files and boundary condition parameters as inputs, then generates 3D simulation results in seconds rather than days, reportedly achieving speeds more than 1,000 times faster than conventional numerical solvers. Customers integrate the AI Solver with their existing CAE toolchain, which spans Ansys Mechanical, Fluent, LS-Dyna, Siemens Star CCM+, MSC Nastran, Abaqus, Moldflow, AutoForm, Marc, and proprietary in-house solvers. The AI Optimizer adds design-space exploration capability, automatically iterating over geometric parameters to minimize stress, vibration, or thermal risk while meeting structural and manufacturing constraints. The AI Enhancer focuses specifically on battery system simulation, predicting performance degradation, thermal runaway risk, and lifetime under various charge-discharge profiles, a capability targeting electric vehicle and energy storage customers.

SolverX serves the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. In the automotive sector the platform accelerates structural and NVH simulations for body-in-white components. In aerospace it enables rapid iteration of airframe and propulsion component designs. For electronics it handles thermal, structural, and electromagnetic analysis of printed circuit boards and chip packages. The company raised $3.3 million in seed funding from Fast Ventures, Kakao Ventures, Murex Partners, and Otium Capital. As of mid-2026, SolverX employs approximately 27 people. CEO Yun Young Choi leads the company with a focus on commercializing physics AI for global engineering teams.
