Smart ID Dynamics S.A. is a Romanian provider of business automation and data-collection technology, headquartered in Bucharest. The company is majority owned by the private equity fund Sarmis Capital, which took a controlling stake in the business and later folded in the automation integrator Spectrum under the same ownership group.
Smart ID Dynamics supplies barcode and RFID hardware, mobile computers, electronic shelf labels, and fiscal printers alongside its own Sceptrum ERP and Smart WMS software, and integrates robotic pick-and-pack systems, conveyor sorting, laser marking, and machine-vision inspection for warehouse and production lines. It also resells and integrates equipment from Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic, NCR, Fujitsu, and Universal Robots. Customers span retail, logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, and utilities, and the company lists national and international clients including eMAG, Carrefour, Auchan, Metro, REWE, DPD, DHL, and Kuehne+Nagel.
The company reports more than 4,200 clients served, over 38,000 mobile terminals deployed, roughly 32,000 pieces of automation equipment in active service, and about 290 completed automation projects, supported by a team of certified technical staff.
